Bliss
A Gamified Installation Featuring an Unraveling Digital World
Unreal Engine, Blender, and Adobe CC
Student Project
Bliss is a prototype for an gamified installation built in Unreal Engine that focuses on a nostalgic digital world on the brink of collapse. The player navigates through a reimagined Windows XP interface, prompted to make destructive choices that unravel the digital world. Ignoring updates and running corrupted files lead to desperate pleas from the operating system. The game is a reflection on the increasing humanization of technology and artificial intelligence's integration into operating systems in all modern computers.
